Having little Biblical knowledge thu Church attendance myself, I'm very familiar w/ the idea of interpreting Pharaoh's dreams, but thru Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (come to think of it, I get a lot of knowledge of the Gospels thru that other Lloyd-Weber musical...)

Even for those who do, it remains a question as to whether it is interpreted/understood in the same way. I’m not sure broader biblical literacy matters as much when meaning is so contentious.
