Yes. My husband worked the polls but because of his age it is too dangerous for him. BTW he is one of the boomers who apparently have no value during covid.

It kind of makes me lose faith in the system when I get to the polls and sitting behind the desk are three 80 year olds in MAGA hats. So yes, please volunteer to keep elections valid!

Thank u for this. I'm a poll worker. FYI. Because of Supreme CT. ruling this week on churches in Nevada not being able to have more than 50 people our Election Dept has now lost all those sites for polling stations Nov. 3rd. Did they realize that when they made the ruling? Help!

Most of the poll workers I've seen are retirees who can man the polls during the work day. Obviously, they're at significantly higher risk for Covid19. I'd love to volunteer, but I'm one of those oldees and I have a heart condition, so I won't do it. Gen-Xers, time to step up.
