The first referendum was awful, but your point stands, a #PeoplesVote now would be much better.

People's Vote 8/8: If a Brexit referendum decided without the votes of the people most affected was good, then a referendum with 1.5 million newly-eligible voters is better.

I hate the reckless talk of loss of public trust in politics. But I shudder to think the fillip to right wing populism that a second referendum will create.
