I agree that wealth disparity / income gap is rapidly destroying democracy. Here’s my take: the GOP needed Citizens United to remain a viable party. Most Dems don’t want to accept $ from super pacs, but they worry their populist message will be drowned out by large GOP ad buys.

We knew this before the election. But Putin won yet another democracy to crush despite all the warnings, and despite Trump’s obvious psychopathy. This is even more frightening because the world tyrants are dubiously uniting. Either way, America, as we imgined it, does not exist.
