Snyder’s book is brilliant, a must read for thinking Americans. There was a negative review floating around the other day and I was shocked. The book has the key intellectual elements we need to save American democracy. Bravo, Professor Snyder!

Great article, but I disagree with the ending. Our institutions are very vulnerable to actors that don’t respect them. As Prof. Snyder and others said, it is our duty to keep those institutions intact and alive. We can’t rely on them, we need to fight for them!
