My question: is there any serious movement among former Establishment types to form a centrist party/coalition independent of the GOP? Because that GOP is dead. It's deader than dead. No time like the present to acknowledge as much and get busy building something different.

Every single one of these elected Rs who are mortified by what happened on Wednesday need to face reality: they can either choose to be forever associated with insurrection, or they can declare themselves Independents. If they don't, most will be primaried in 2 years.
