Personal experience- I caught the delta variant in June, but it was a very mild reinfection. Like a cold for 3 days and I lost my smell for a week. I first had covid March 2020 and it was nasty.

But it can clearly break through the vaccines easier as almost everyone I know who has caught covid in the last 2 months has been double vaccinated. Natural immunity still the best bet.
