Current status: running ILDASM on BinScope to figure out what entirely bogus "MASM" version number I need to make NASM write into CodeView debug info to make the current BinScope version not reject them as "too old compiler version".

"Why don't you use inline ASM?" because VC++ doesn't have any "why don't you use MASM?" because I have literally spent days searching and there seem to be no actual docs (nor useful examples) for x64 MASM syntax, and when you muddle through it mis-assembles some instructions

CDep doesn't support anything. But master_oodle in the oodle2-dev branch has NASM support.

Bink, Miles, Iggy and Telemetry are on master_jeffr, Oodle is on master_oodle which is a fork from a ~2011 version of master_jeffr, and Granny is on a _completely_ different CDep setup that has nothing in common with master_jeffr.
