It’s everywhere & it’s indeed a problem. Brain limitations are exploited by many. My point is that ux designers aren’t to blame when the practice is legal (unlike cheating about emissions). It’s the job of a director of UX to raise ethics pb & executives to define company values.

And then of course it’s the job of consumers / customers / citizens to raise their voices and draw the line. So it’s great to raise flags but the people accountable are the ones benefitting from these dark patterns. Not necessarily the ones designing them (again, when legal).
