@TimSweeneyEpic Have you ever written about the design choices of ZZT-OOP? I know you had experience with ASM and BASIC, but it's interesting that ZZT was Pascal-based while ZZT-OOP is nothing like it.

ZZT-OOP was just a quick hack to make it easy to write simple time-based action macros. I’d actually written a complete Pascal-like language on Apple ][ in 1986, but didn’t continue that theme again until UnrealScript on 1997.
