I agree with this. C++20 already has most language features necessary for concepts and many other things (constexpr ?:, let).

What it needs is syntactic sugar for constructs that are now expressive only obtusely, with carefully designed static asserts.

And static_assert compile-time try-catch so that these constructs can produce nice composable error messages.
