OpenGL clients are currently taking a software fallback on SteamVR for Linux. Not the case for long now that EXT_memory_object is live.

There wasn't a standard way to share OpenGL VR app's client textures to SteamVR Vulkan compositor; needed additional interop extensions.

Our fallback was to do a readback for GL apps; Vulkan apps were already optimal. Was just a quick crutch for initial dev; all good now.
