Social media that censors some users' free speech should lose safe harbor protections and be liable for content posted by remaining users.

What "free speech" ? No-one has a right to free speech on social media owned by a company. They can "censor" all they like

I believe Social media companies are not just publishers as newspapers are. They are essential facilities for public discourse.

As platforms for public discourse, they should be subject to common carrier status, and barred from censoring free speech.

If they want to censor, they can do so as a publisher -- and be liable for everything they publish, as newspapers are.
