Not true. AFAIK they were documented as Enterprise-only before this, but worked due to a bug.

I turned off the lock screen spam. I do NOT want my computer to display images out of my control. Now it's back.

A) Lockscreen Spotlight isn't spam, it's one of the most popular user features in Win10. B) You can turn it off.

Go to setting and Lock Screen, and turn it off. Always been an option. You can set whatever image you want.
