As long as they don't use it for ads, and it somehow relates to "improving my PC experience", this allows it.

Users can set telemetry to "basic" if they are paranoid about that. Not a realistic concern for most.

Not true. AFAIK they were documented as Enterprise-only before this, but worked due to a bug.
