Programming languages would benefit from <..> for strings, and the prefix < is unambiguous. Why not even <expr:text> for markup?

It would be extremely valuable if C++ and JavaScript supported a clean new alternate syntax.

0u123ABC for unicode hex literals, <0u123ABC> for Unicode string injection. <blah {a+b} blah> for string interpolation.

for markup we need to nest tags a lot of the time. <b class=“price”><span class=“unit”>$</span>20</b>
-
How about <b{class=“price”}:<span{class=“unit”}:$>20>, or classes as first-class expressions <price:<unit:$>20>

Syntax for potentially nested things scare me :0, unless reserved for things that don't nest.

We should use emoji to mark strings... ... SO EMOJI CAN NEVER BE USED. :p
