@aL3891 I don't see this as an open UWP ecosystem because it relies on a win32 installer backdoor that Microsoft could close at any time.
@PiotrGoreckiJr @DrPizza @aL3891 Has anyone released a non-Microsoft-signed .msi-installable UWP? Please point me to one, I want to try it!

@PiotrGoreckiJr@DrPizza@aL3891 http://blogs.msmvps.com/installsite/blog/2015/05/03/the-future-of-windows-installer-msi-in-the-light-of-windows-10-and-the-universal-windows-platform/ … makes this sound like .msi install of .appx is not Microsoft's intent. -
@TimSweeneyEpic@PiotrGoreckiJr@DrPizza they are referring to limitations in msi with regards to sandboxing, not uwp installation via msi

@TimSweeneyEpic@PiotrGoreckiJr@aL3891 try it yourself, I'm sure you have a code signing certificate. -
@DrPizza@TimSweeneyEpic@PiotrGoreckiJr@aL3891 The point is this: How do you distribute a UWP app without a storefront or win32 involved? - 1 more reply
