Probably a complete coincidence that they're doing that, not related to ongoing events with their competitors in any way at all. I bet they just woke up and were like "yeah let's make up some principles for app stores" unprompted by anything.

Yep and the fact that these principles only apply to the Windows Store (that nodoby use) and not the Xbox store where they make a ton of money using the same 30% fee is just a coincidence I guess.

Good move considering the alternatives, but interesting how they don't differentiate between "Windows" (the OS) and the "Windows Store" in those "10 Commandments". As if they "own the place" and graciously allow us peasant developers to run our code on "their" operating system.

@TimSweeneyEpic, just to be sure, can you guys somehow make it so you cannot buy vBucks directly from the game, but you can buy them trough a epic games website, this will be permanent while the mobile community waits for the next trail which is in June 2020 -
This will be only for iOS players, Also the apple lawyer said that they are willing to put Fortnite back if you guys revert the option to buy directly from epic.
