Consoles will be out for months by the time this "demo" is released. All this hush stuff gets extremely old, Transparency is key.
-
Why the secrecy? The demo must have been coded on a PC so how it is “to soon to know” how it will perform on a PC? What?
Seriously, the vague answers are getting old ny know... spill the beans already

Are we expected to believe that Epic hasn't developed that demo for current PC specs and know exactly how it would perform. Release a side by side video of current high end PC playing the same demo, and highlight what Sony's SSD does that most current PC's wouldn't be able to do.
-
Probably not because most likely everything that has been said is BS and by doing so would ruin Sony's whole marketing deal about its SSD. They wouldn't want that.

The most interesting thing (apparently) said in that stream was that Nanite can auto-scale fidelity to fit the abilities of lower IO? In that case I assume you need to know the tri:pixel ratio Nanite is hitting on that laptop, in order to compare apples:apples with anything else.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Hi Tim, what the difference between nanite and Sampler feedback use on DX12U ?
-
Nanite is geometry, sfs is textures (I think)

So are you saying that so far UE5 is only developed for PS5 at the moment? Because that's the only reason I can see for not just giving confirmation that it will look the same for PC and XSX. Like are you starting with PS5 then the rest that's why we have to wait till next year?

Spike Lee epic has a marking deal with Sony where they cannot talk about Xbox just like Sony had a market deal with destiny and Microsoft couldn't talk about destiny for a little while
