So the platform with fortnight isn’t competition?

It's only competition because rather than spend money to get the store in a proper state to take on Steam,
@EpicGames/@TimSweeneyEpic would rather buy their success with exclusives.3 replies 0 retweets 14 likes -

It's no different than the fat kid with asthma breaking the athletic kids legs in order to win the 100 meter dash. They're competition, but for wholly dishonest and unsportly means.

It's just meant to be a comparison. Basically, Epic isn't in a condition to realistically compete with Steam, but by denying Steam the ability to actually compete for a games sales they're basically cheating the race.

Valve has tons of money. If they wanted to bid for ac and any other game they could have. There’s no cheating if it’s a fair transaction

Exactly. Or pay a fairer revenue share instead of taking 30%. That’s why all of the big publishers have left.

Yeah, no. The big publishers haven't left Steam, they're using Epic to get a little extra money with the intent on Steam sales later on making up for lost revenue. If anything, Ubisoft is using everyone's hatred for Epic to get them to flock to Uplay instead.

Tell me Tim, apart from exclusives, what does Epic offer that the average consumer couldn't get from companies like Steam, GOG, or Humble Bundle?
