The "oscillations" are happening every few days though. It's just random high/low spikes in the day to day data The way they averaged 3 days together, plotted every day and then smoothed the hell out of the curve creates that pattern
I say they smoothed the curve, but there wouldnt be visible curves in the data if they didnt smooth it into a curve. Have you ever plotted 3 points in exel and then made the computer plot a curve? That's what's happening here
