After you asked for a higher cut of the micro transactions. You were asking for special privledges just so that you didn’t lose your valuable fortnite money. Google rejected it because they didn’t want that. They didn’t pull out of the deal, you did.

Maybe Google should not use its monopoly to extort developers, be it Epic or a smaller game studio. You could do in-app-purchases without Google in the past, all that has changed is Google realized it can now profit more off of developers I am glad Epic is at least pushing back

Tim, KUMO is correct. You knew Google wouldn't allow it on their store when you use your own IAP payment system. I'd love to see you try that with Apple. Don't pretend "we tried. THEY refused". You're a smart man so you knew...

I don’t understand why you care so much. It’s google’s distribution channel and they’re rightfully entitled to their cut. Just distribute the APK direct – this is a waste of your prodigious talent.
