No, because it's not the price of the product itself. Steam keys only work on Steam and Valve makes no money from them.

This is the ultimate reason many die-hard Steam fans hate Epic’s store. They have massive amounts of data and social connections locked into Steam, which Steam blocks from working through other stores. It sucks for them, but the root problem is Steam, not Epic Games Store.

I hate your store because it only offers minimal basic functionality, because you buy the rights to games instead of letting me play where I want to, because if I buy more games than Im supposed to in a short period you lock my account, because it doesn't offer controller support

Tim, please tell me how Valve has prevented you from starting the Epic Games Store. Oh, wait. They didn't. Bring me back to how GOG is unifying gamers and neither Epic not Valve is.

A store that literally wall gardened games is accusing other store dividing player

It's a PR narrative. Epic needs to push this angle in order to make their exclusivity strategy appear justified and claim the moral high ground, when in reality the reason they are doing it is because buying exclusives is cheaper than successfully growing a competitive platform.pic.twitter.com/7bykDqRohD

Wait people actually value social features on Steam? That's really a thing!? That must be why Discord is such a big deal. We'll, if that's such a problem just implement those same features to compete. Actually, any features added to EGS would be impressive.

The Epic store isn't just another icon when you lose so much functionality and features VS Steam and Gog when you buy and launch games with it. How many times do we need to explain this? This is why feature parity is so important.

You mean features that they created, that gamers love, that EGS refuses to create and cries about not having access to. If you want them, just make them. You have the resources. Whining that you can't use a competitor's advantage for free makes you look petulant.

Hey, your "another icon" has more expensive games in some regions, lacks a lot of features that other stores besides steam has, also i had issues buying from your icon, issues that other stores never had but i can't get games anywhere else because you locked them in your icon

That's so true. When I bought Dying Light on GOG I wasn't able to find online games due to the lower community (they sold it on GOG years after steam). I had to buy a steam version,
@TechlandGames didn't eve give me one for free...Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
