In that case, the one who posses an absolute control for a game distribution (monopoly) is devs/publishers. They have the rights to chose whatever store that is more beneficial for them.

Exclusives or not. People who dislike Tim and/or Epic Games for this specific reason need to educate themself. Tim's ambitions towards PC and console gaming is highly pro consumer.

Dunno if I'd call trying to lock people into one place with exclusives specifically bought from another store is pro consumer. Seems like there is less (notable) exclusives this year though, and I'd like to see them moving more away from that.

Yeah but they have to be honest with themself. How many buys the same games twice? Not many. Microsoft knows that, and that's why we get "Play anywhere" no matter if you own it on PC OR Xbox.
