This 22% claim is a fabrication, no analyst said anything like that.

You're doing fine, you just can't lean into the hate too much. You're doing something different and helping developers. Gotta stay positive because your purpose and message behind EGS is really good in the long-term.
-
You've clearly made up your mind, but please don't pretend it's all mindless hate. I backed Shenmue III likely for more than any EGS buyer will spend, and Tim effectively paid to downgrade my Kickstarter reward. I have a VERY legitimate grievance. Theirs is not a "good purpose".

You said today that Valve's bad for giving big devs a better deal than small ones, yet you're not allowing small devs to sell on your store at all if they won't go exclusive?
-
Right now we’re deciding which games to accept on a case-by-case basis given our limited ability to onboard new titles. We’ll open up the store much more broadly later this year.

You didnt answer my question but I'm going to bow out as I've said my piece. I will say that even though I fundamentally disagree with most of your points I do appreciate the fact you are taking the time to talk and not block anyone who dares to disagree. Peace out

OMG this guy. "Small devs deserve to be told to shove off for wanting to simship after WE approached them! We don't want to help charity! Let's exaggerate the number of games on Steam!" (Note: As of Jan 2019 Steam didn't have 50,000 games TOTAL, let alone per year.)
-
/whoooooosh the point going right over your head. So instead you have to pick on a typo of adding in an extra zero.

While also dodging the question. How is the consumer better off now than we were pre EGS? We still have to pay $60+micro transactions on your store. With the 88/12 cut shouldn't it be cheaper?
-
It sometimes is, when EGS sales do their "we pay $10 for you" scheme, either as a blanket on all transactions or via a coupon given to all accounts. That's how they're getting around Steam's requirement to sell games elsewhere for the same price. Honestly this one is OK.
