Eisberg is a paid employee of Epic. Arguing with them is an exercise in futility. They only know how to shill.

Eisberg isn’t employed or paid by Epic. We Epic folks identify ourselves online when speaking about game industry relevant topics.

Lots of independent developers and gamers believe in and support Epic’s approach to store competition and getting better terms for developers. Eisberg is just the tip of the iceberg!

I was accused of being a Valve employee during the early days of Steam and there was great amount of vocal hate towards Steam. What can I say? I'm passionate about gaming and want what's best for it.

So stop supporting barebone stores who's buying exclusives? I've told Tim many times that I look forward to what EGS has to come at some point.

Yeah now only if they could actually follow a road map and get any of it done. Cloud saves? Doesn't work for everything, shopping cart?

Forums? Reviews? A launcher that actually works on all PCs? They had a year plus to do all the basic things not done yet.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes -

A cartless experience is a good thing for this market. You typically buy multiple games at a time? Most people do not. The cartless experience has allowed for publisher/developer opt in box for updates from them to your email. On each purchase made, a user can choose to get mail.

"You typically buy multiple games at a time?" Sometimes, sometimes not. See, stores do these things called sales. By the way, people have been banned on EGS on suspicion of fraud because they made multiple purchases during a sale BECAUSE it lacks a cart. Couldn't make it up.

Happened to less than 10 people and was fixed many months ago. Doesn't happen anymore.

One, you don't know how many didn't report it. Two, this demonstrates people buy multiple games during a sale. Three, go on, I want to see you say you prefer needing to buy games one at a time. That will be fun.

Epic analyzed the situation months ago and found it had affected 7 people. No accounts were banned, but the system placed a hold on their ability to make payments. It was all fixed within a few days.

Actually fair. Thanks for clarifying. Can I please ask for this kind of sensibility elsewhere? You must realise you're making no money on Shenmue now. You could unilaterally release the game from exclusivity and fix the backer ban "within a few days" just as easily.
