I'm disappointed with the Facebook ad decision. Not a smart move for the company; targeting limits and a minimal standard on claims about opponents would represent a defensible, non-partisan and helpful position.

In all cases of potential abuse we have to balance the risks of centralized control of speech against the risks of the underlying speech. Thanks for sharing your thinking. Personally I trust 2 billion people each making an individual decision about what to believe than one corporation deciding what political claims they ought to be able to weigh. The pressure to abuse such a censorship role will be overwhelming.
