and Epic launcher does have advantages, for example, it doesn't have forced updates on games, unlike Steam, also it isn't a store that is covered in trash due to the lack of quality of control like Steam is, so it has a much more pleasant shopping experience.

You haven’t created a service which people login to and browse for hours and have discussions on etc. You have a glorified launcher with a shop tacked on. You can’t compare the two. Sure if you were at the scale of steam you may find it’s below 15% or 20% etc.

But valves business model is service delivery and keeping everybody angry with lack of HL3. Your business model is micro transactions and licensing your game engine then blackmailing the publishers to use your platform to absorb the costs.
