Context. This was about Intel Integrates Graphics breaking PC gaming in the early 2000’s. 3D games had abandoned software rendering to support powerful 3dfx/NVIDIA/ATI GPUs, then Intel launched a series of fake GPUs that weren’t capable of supporting modern 3D games.

2) I was having those issues in the early 90s with my Sierra games. It's always been a thing with PC games. Disparity in hardware and performance among different computer builds.
