Please be patient and give Google time to deliberate on what is certainly a major decision for the future of the tech industry: whether platforms support ecosystems open to fair competition, or are resource monopolies granting special rights and privileges for themselves.

All signs point to an inevitable opening, and to the timeliness of doing it now. The big decision is whether it will be done now by great software engineers, or a bit later by courts and regulators throughout a prolonged period of industry malaise. Let the engineers do it!

"We welcome any developer... and expect them to participate under the same terms as other developers". So any developer except Epic Games? I know Corporate PR Speak is complicated, but that seems almost intentionally misleading if Google plan to accept Epic's terms.
