Good decentralization contains financial incentives. Look at the internet. DNS has financial incentives and is overall sketchy and gross, but that is separate from the soul of the internet, TCP/IP

Indeed. And some and/or many of the decentralized systems are technically interesting, but I still don't see how a tech, that is basically a WWW redux, if successful like the WWW is, won't end up eventually being exactly the same with its Amazons, its Googles etc.
