Actually I’ve long been a critic of social media’s algorithmic curation and have never had a Facebook page. But I speak in favor of companies stating their principles and being open to discuss vital topics like this, because I think it’s much better than the alternative.

I think the trend of dividing people through guilt by association is actually at the center of social media's current woes. Here, you're saying I'm bad because I commended an action by someone who talked to someone who you disagree with. I think that's crazy.

By that rationale, are you fine with news agencies spreading any information (including false news) if it clearly states that the onus is on the reader to know what is true/fake?
