I also spoke to Yahoo Finance: it's now more than three days for Activision Blizzard including a mass online protest, a company walkout, mainstream media scrutiny, and community unrest, without a single word from Bobby Kotick or J. Allen Brack cowardspic.twitter.com/W2hxx55Mwy

hey
@TimsweeneyEpic just out of curiosity, do you support the protesters in Hong Kong and what they are fighting for?

Epic doesn’t engage in politics or take a position on any political dispute. We’ve simply said we’re a neutral game operator and don’t seek to limit what players say. This neutrality applies equally to players on all sides of any disagreement.

Epic’s mission is building world-class games and technology. Everyone here agrees on that as do the gamers and developers who choose support Epic. On all other topics, including politics, everyone might have completely different views.

I feel it would be a mistake for any company that has achieved employee and customer unity on its mission to sacrifice that by engaging in politics, or for a CEO to drag their personal political views into their company.
