I may be a CS student but my professor always told me "Never release incomplete software". What's your excuse to release a store which lacks basic features in 2019?
Has your professor ever released anything?
If fortnite money can't help a store to get better then why should we believe that exclusive money will help games to get better?
This. Not a single dev/publisher said exactly _how_ a game would be better with Epic's money. Not a single EGS game launched in a better state than it would have been on Steam. Not a single game on the EGS "passed on the savings to the consumer" (aka sold cheaper than on Steam).
You shouldn't have rushed the store launch then.
Why is it rushed? When steam first came out, it didn’t have all the same stuff it does now, updates and improvements happen over time with everything
Almost one year old is "new"?
Even Origin and Uplay had more features at launch than your joke of a "store".
That could be an arguement, if Fornite wasn't undoubtedly extremely profitable. I was legitimately excited for actual pro consumer competition in the market. However you guys decided to be lazy and rush out an unfinished platform and chain games to your inferior platform 1/2
To be fair, everything points to them having spent over half a billion dollars on the Revenue Guarantee for AAA corps (and some indies, but they get REALLY shitty deals compared to Ubi, who's gotten ~100 million for ONE game)
