Aside from the main stupidity here, of my pet peeve with how those breakdown articles shape perception is that they all ignore the fact that in most regions VAT is also taken out. On Steam the average income for a $10 game is more $6 than $7.

Also Paradox just announced a new Surviving game that will be EGS exclusive, they're not even aloud to sell it on their own store for 100% profit. Real pro dev move there.
