.@TimSweeneyEpic Hey Tim, quick question - now that Valve will sue publishers who illegitimately use Steam pages for their community features and release on EGS, will you excuse this as "pushing Epic to adopt features"?
Curious if your lack of ethics includes double standards.

Keep up Tim, Valve can now pursue devs of games like Metro Exodus that supplement the lack of support and services on your storefront with those of Steam. Would you agree this is to push you to develop features?
-
Valve has had that point on their contract long ago and they didn't sue anyone for it... they reserve the right to go for it at their discretion but valve is very very passive, don't count on anything coming from there unless they wake up for what is happening.

Still waiting on whether you think Valve is pushing you to adopt features because it's good for the industry. C'mon, put some good PR out there just one time.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

People seem to think Valve is going to sue because of the release date parity clause in the distribution agreement, something Valve never enforced all these years. They would stand to lose more than they would gain by trying to enforce that.
-
Until now, they never had a reason to enforce it. All we can do is wait to see what Valve does. It's highly unlikely they aren't planning something.
