That’s true, and Epic also charges 0% for Epic Games store game keys sold through other stores, and 0% for games sold through Humble’s new direct purchasing integration.

Removed is maybe not the right term. I meant that the game will be available on other store than EGS. It's not "ocked" to the store like what we have on Uplay or Origin where the "steam game" is only a way to launch it from Upay and Origin at end.

If you buy the game on EGS you will only be able to use it from there. In case of Ubisoft titles you must use their launcher too, as with their games on Steam.

Technically, NO! And you know this. The user owns a license to use the digital software. But you don't own the game "forever". If EGS quits service, the game is gone & there is nothing the user can do about it.
