Then why won't you let indie developers put games on your store if they won't sign an exclusivity deal? If your store is so superior that it'll make people want to sign up, why are you so afraid of them having the option to put it elsewhere?

My apology for the misquote. I understand infrastructure optimization and flatting of the customer support but, growth of game size isn't on a linear slope. There are many empirical examples of digital distribution being overwhelmed by large scale releases.

He's obviously only doing this with smaller indie titles. AAA titles can get on the Epic Store and be non-exclusive because he knows they can't afford not to have them.

He's playing the "88/12 Revenue Share" card again. But he won't put a game in their store if they don't buy in to his exclusivity bullshit. Fucking Timmy Tencent at it again.

He has a specific goal of changing the PC industry away from the 70/30 standard, and exclusive play a big role in that. Allowing a small game as non exclusive when they can only do about 10% of games wanting to be on Epic, is a hindrance to that goal.
