Hi Mark, we’re still in the early, hand-curated days of the Epic Games store where we can only accommodate a small number of releases. See the launch announcement:https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/announcing-the-epic-games-store …

Why is your 2019 storefront so shit? Why can't people preload the game that will surely devastate your servers when it releases? No one is buying the rotten shit you're selling, Sweeney.

Why don't you fund new games instead of buying exclusivity of games that are nearly finished? Is it because you aren't sure if the popularity of Fortnite will last a traditional development cycle?

We’ve been doing both since the Epic Games store launch. Most of the news is about games that are nearly finished because they’re approaching release, whereas projects receiving earlier funding are further out.

Tim you should just ban all future Unreal Engine games from other PC store fronts as you own the engine. It will probably make Epic Store more appealing for devs.

Unreal Engine will always be platform-agnostic, store-agnostic, and online service agnostic. Developers will have complete freedom to choose which software and service components they mix and match with Unreal.
