Hi Mark, we’re still in the early, hand-curated days of the Epic Games store where we can only accommodate a small number of releases. See the launch announcement:https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/announcing-the-epic-games-store …

Epic is providing a lot of funding for development and marketing. Epic Mega Grants provide no-strings-attached grants for partners independent of stores and platforms, and our early store partnerships provide funding generally in exchange for PC store exclusivity.

Tim this is not good behaviour to demand exclusivity it's good to offer but never to force it on the developers please put this developer game on the Epic games store without as non exclusive

Why not just have the platform speak for itself? If you build it, the developers and thus the content will follow as well as the users. Exclusivity was a great way to get a leg-up but now it seems only to hurt smaller developers in being exposed into their already smaller market.

What kind of campaign is this? Paying money to dev so they can break promises? Pissing off PC gamers? Dividing gamers? Hope fortnite don't dry out before EGS.

Darq was one of the most wishlisted games on Steam, so there was clearly a lot of potential for new users. The fact Indies have to go exclusive, but the big devs don't says a lot about your priorities. Long term your stance hurts Indies, even if short term it helps them.

You bring in users with these exclusives. What's going to KEEP them using your store? What benefit is there for me to buy for example Vampire Bloodlines 2 from you instead of Steam? With Steam I get achievements, screenshots, community guides and forums.

Dear
@PleaseCapcom, timmy has already gone on the record before to say that you don't matter, customers don't matter, only the devs matter and they are the ones who will 'decide' the store wars. just be happy you can buy predatory microtransactions and install their spyware!

And don't you think the Epic Games launcher being feature-complete would help bring in users? Forcing people to use your store if they want to play a game for the first year is not a way to sustain a long-term, healthy userbase. You're just making everyone angry.
