As a customer, I don't really care how much dev or store get. What I care is if I can buy the game on where I want. You spend money monopolizing is the best way to push people back to pirating as we can't own it on their collection of choice day one. 0% to dev thx to exclusive.

And what about nontransparent exclusivity deals? Those are not part of Epic's distribution partnership?
-
Epic works with all exclusive partners to announce their exclusivity at a time prior to release that’s suitable to them.

Not the customers. We care where is the cheapest way to buy the game, the most conveniently buy the game, download the game, store the game. Customers don't care if it is 30/70 12/88 or 10/90. We just CHOOSE the store with better pricing or service.

But you hate competition with Steam, so you pay the dev /publisher to not release on Steam. Now customers have no choose of where to download or store the game. Only choose left is if we want to support your store

That 88/12% sure comes up a lot. What are those "Influencer" fees I heard about though? Do they amount to much?

I agree and you should be transparent to how much you gave to each ceo or studio head that take exclusivity deal with epic.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

It seems like no matter what happens, people aren't happy about the exclusives side of things. Maybe people will lay off if bought exclusives stop being a thing eventually, but are there any plans for the near future to address the hatred towards both you and EGS?

88/12 that's all I can say! Forget the rampant account leaks, Chinese Govt backing (social credit anyone?), absolute featureless store, lack of reviews (can't have the customer making informed decisions on what to buy!) Tim hates PC gamers and now when convenient wants our money
