Epic is funding the cost of all Kickstarter refunds resulting from Shenmue III’s move to the Epic Games store, so that refunds won’t reduce Ys Net’s development funding.https://twitter.com/pcgamer/status/1146056622915162112 …

tl;dr it's all about that Fortnite money baby
The essence is there, Tim. The remake has the feel, so many miss the mark with remakes but this wasn't, wheres the love gone? At least ask the team about it maybe? It would certainly be giving something back to the PC community.
I thought it was meant to be a collaboration between the devs and the community. The community has kept the game alive 2 years after you last put out an update. Sort it out, Tim. Why not release the code to the community so we can finish it off?
Hire the people of the community that are willing to work on the project and create a dedicated dev team for that game, they will most certainly be happy to work on it and iterate on how to finish the game.
I'm sorry, but what about just redoing Unreal Tournament from 2004 is "experimental", exactly?
PLZ dont shutdown this legendary game
So what about to go and fix some issue and help the community. We love the game. 2 or more would be nice. We love the competitive mode. Thanks you for help
It would be nice if the UT content is made available to UE4 developers one day, just like the Paragon assets.

Why not leaving 1 of the developers at the UT project and finish it will the help of the community? The Game is still more played WW than QC f.e. The Community is still there and passioned.
