Correct. And before the comparison to Origin and Uplay, the difference is their exclusives are limited to their own products. They don't actively go out looking to steal products to monopolize.

That's not competition, Tim. That's monopolizing. Instead of buying other games to sell on ONLY your store, why not spend that money to make your store more desirable, or, dare I say it, produce your own damn games? The fact that you have to buy popular games for your store

We’re doing all of those things, but they take varying amounts of time to complete. There’s a limit to how quickly Epic can spend money to accelerate features, as there’s a limited number of developers with the right expertise, and it takes time to find, hire, and onboard more.

Very well, if you are listening - Why aim for a year long exclusivity period when you'd get the bulk of your sales in a month long one instead? It hurts any goodwill your partners may have had, and further lowers Epic in the eyes of consumers who pay attention to your history.

The exclusivity periods are aimed at bringing in the core buyers of the game and follow-on friends joining through word of mouth, similar to the timeframe of a movie debuting in theaters. We looked at sales data of existing games and concluded that was generally 6-12 months.

We're going to continue to disagree on this point. The 18% savings for the dev/pub is great for THEM, but it's not as though WE will ever see that as a reduced base price. Meanwhile, if prices are the same then I'd prefer to buy via Steam where most of my other games are. ...

It's not just a matter of a different opinion. It results in actions, impacting ppl that obviously don't agree with the consequences they are now facing. Btw those 90% market share was admittedly just another wild guess by you. As well as the 70/30 myth. Stay true to facts pls.

Not reasonable for the customers at all. You guys provide no benefits for customer compare to any other stores. Fortnite is the only reason EGS exist Stop spending money on exclusive, spend on improvement for better PR and saving time arguing on Twitter.
