@TimSweeneyEpic you wanna explain why your customers can't play Tetris VR without Steam? It's almost like your shit platform doesn't have the infrastructure or features to actually compete or function properly...

So when can your customers expect EpicVR integration on your platform? Is that something you guys can invest in, with your 12% cut? Or are you guys just gonna keep piggybacking off all the work Valve does, and invests their 30% into, while claiming that's too high a cut?

Asking to make "EpicVR" would be like asking Steam, GOG, ect to make the video card drivers for their client for games to use. No, the hardware creators are responsible for the drivers for the hardware, and Valve is a hardware creator so the software is their responsibility.

So it's like you're saying "no but actually yes".

Could someone please do an experiment on this? Like maybe get a computer without steam and play Tetris in VR.

SteamVR doesn't actually require Steam from what I recall and it's just what Valve calls it. It also goes by the name OpenVR as well. The Trevor game that is also on EGS makes use of SteamVR as well from what I remember
