Equally wat? I mean, if anything, I would be ideologically closer to China Communist Party than Tim. Only thing Tim is tied to is that phat Fortnite profit. (I said closer, not that I agree in any form with maoists. That ***holes bring shame to communists worldwide)

No, I do not forget that. However, Tencent is a private company. Not owned by Chinese government. As for regulations, they are subject to government rules and laws like all the other companies there. Including, 2K used to have a division there, working on a Borderlands MMO. 1/2

All Chinese companies must provide access and information to the government for any and everything they are asked for.

Tencent i'm pretty sure is operating in china , it is also a Chinese company for that combo breaker lol. Outside companies operating in China must form a partnership with a Chinese company and so they have to submit to the exact same scrutiny from the Chinese government.

As for epic relationship with Tencent, anything epic has to share with Tencent as investors is likely under the radar of the Chinese government. 40% must mean they have access a substantial amount and it is a quota Tim can't ignore when they make requests.

That’s not how investment works. Epic investors like Tencent don’t have any access to Epic customer data.

I was not referring to customer data that i know already you give them with your privacy policy: "We may share personal information we collect within our family of companies." i use twitter as well as other social networks so i know they had it already.

They list out the family of companies in the privacy policy, the family of company being Epic and Epic's subsidiaries, investors are not a part of the family of companies.

That’s right. The “family of companies” refers solely to Epic and the various international subsidiaries which are 100% Epic-owned and are necessary for tax purposes.
