That’s a false claim. Epic and Easy Anti Cheat didn’t drop any Linux support or make any such announcement. We’re actively working on Linux.https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/easy-anti-cheat-is-actually-still-supported-for-linux-a-statement-from-epic-games.14077 …

I'm curious by this: "seeking to better support Wine as a solution for running Epic Games store window titles" Do you mean running the store AND the games in Wine, or Epic getting the store on Linux with Windows games run through Wine like Valve has with Steam Play?

Just code it for Linux separately to keep it stable Jesus Christ is that really so hard? Oh wait you can't even make a shopping cart for your store nICEEEEEE what dfq should i expect :(

Yes, it actually is that hard. Valve has been working on Linux support on Steam for several years, and even with all that work, their solution isn’t perfect. Both the launcher and games have to work, and both those features must be launched simultaneously. It is “so hard”.

Then why did Garry Newman say the biggest issue right now in relation to Linux development and progress is "EAC are pausing their Linux support"?https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/bkp538/facepunch_studios_have_given_an_update_on_the/emk6ghm/ …
