From devs/pubs perspective a platforms business model should be irrelevant. On their side it's still the standard 70/30 share they get. If Steam's rev share is hurting them, as you claim, then Sony's/MS's/Nintendo's should do just like that. Interesting you're up to defend them!

that's what epic defender doesn't understand, all them say "exclusivity in consoles doesn't bother so why on pc it does", consoles are selling hardware so exclusivity attracts users, the ones who passed on to PC gaming were trying to avoid exclusivity, until you appeared

and no, PC isn't "missing those games" since there are people working on emulators, not perfect alternative but it works, also some games are being ported to PC, and i wonder those who said there aren't more features to deliver, how would they defend epic now steam labs appeared

And consoles also have paid subscription services which offer features PC users get for free, like online multiplayer and cloud saves. Steam on top of that has cloud storage for screenshots and artwork. Epic Store doesn't have cloud saves nor storage though.

Wrong, as both xbox 1 and ps4 sell above at their cost per unit, so yeah, their revenue split is also bad if you think of it as that way

Source? And are you looking just a manufacturing cost?

Tim Sweeney: "Installing Linux is sort of the equivalent of moving to Canada when one doesn’t like US political trends. Nope, we’ve got to fight for the freedoms we have today, where we have them today." I can't make this shit up even if I tried
