I follow people when I find their posts insightful and not overly voluminous. Among avid posters, why would one assume supporters of the Epic Games store have different motives than detractors?

They also charge 0% on any keys sold by pub/dev outside of Steam...you always like to leave that lil bit out when your pretending to save the world. The simple truth is Valve and
@CDPROJEKTRED offer better stores, services, and games on top of an unshakable sense of integrity.pic.twitter.com/a2FMQadZ32Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

i'd like to see the quality of the games those indie developers launch before saying something about that revenue, it's true that some AAA are bad but it's also true that some indies are boring, i've seen some great ones like tboi, forager, mordhau, etc., but AAA like yakuza, wow

and some examples of bad AAA, the division 1, nba 2k19, any game with microtransactions, doesn't really matter if they're only cosmetics or a game sold in parts.

To add to it after Epic became a thing there's been a trend to raise the prices.Ubisoft have recently upped the price in other regions by 50% over the industry standard, Sinking City is also about 35% overcharging, haven't really seen a benefit but have seen greedy devs/publishers

So why are you praising GOG if they do things worse (but not bad) than steam, split wise?
