There you go again, Valve didn´t lock anything, they provide features for they Plataform as any plataform holder does. You calling a "Tax" don´t change the fact that they provide means to get 100%.

Tencent Timmy Sweeney is screaming over here that his Starbucks rewards card doesn't work at Dunkin Donuts. Goofy!

Do we have to pay a stupidity tax when we purchase a game on your failed "store"?

And here we are with
@TimSweeneyEpic bashing Valve while buying a whole bunch of games exclusively to lock down developers and customers to his own store. Tim is a funny guy.

That's funny. By paying devs and publishers to keep their games away from competing storefronts, YOU are locking gamers and developers into a single store.

Lol you talk as if all PC games need your "store-neutral" cross-platform features. Like, why would I need cross-play to play Obervation? You are trying so hard to use 2 or 3 pro-dev features of EGS to deny the existence of all the advantages Steam has compared to your Store.
-
And you also know Steam has an open community API that allows other parties to access Steam friends, which EGS uses to import Steam friends. How is that called "locked?"
