Yes, the result is the same. The issue has nothing to do with exclusivity, it never has, the actual issue that these people have is just the games they want are not on Steam. These people would be ok with Steam exclusive games, because the games would be on Steam.

Every gamer is free to decide where to distribute their money. Integrating exclusives through cash bait doesn't mean every store has the right to get customers., particularly when some stores gives way less for the same or more expensive price.

"Free to decide", then stop throwing cash at them. Lets see how many devs "freely" go exclusive to EGS when you aren't paying them. But we both know most Devs don't give a shit about Steam's 30%, and it's all PR talk.
